Sveti Stefan

Previously a fishing village, in 1960 Sveti Stefan was converted into a luxory ‘town-hotel’, it became one of the Yugoslavia’s most famous tourist centers for the high paying clientele. Many famous actors, artists, kings from all over the world vacationed here.



The city-core in Kotor is the best preserved, of the cities along the Montenegrin coast, rich in medieval monuments . The walled medieval city-centre, with its winding, narrow little streets, squares and small churches, appears on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Of its religious monuments, the most notable is the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon, dating from the 12th century.

Sutomore has a 2km long sandy beach, which is quite crowded during summer months. The most important cultural monument in Sutomore is St Tekla Church, which was built in the 8th century. There are the remnants of two former Venetian fortresses on the hilltop above the town.


Becici is a modern dynamic tourist complex offers a wide range of accommodation, cafes, restaurants and shops.  In Becici, there are wide variety of watersport- and other sporting facilities.


Located in the southern part of Montenegro, in Budva Municipality, about 20 km southeast from the town of Budva, Petrovac (or Petrovac na Moru) is a small coastal town and a popular holiday resort. Petrovac has a 600-meter-long sandy beach.


Old Town of Bar (Stari Bar) situated at the foot of Mount Rumija, about 5km from the coast, is worth seeing. The oldest part of the town was built in the Medieval period. The town gate is from the 9th-11th centuries; some buildings from the 14th century.
